Corticosteroid (Glucocorticoid)
 
Indications:
Symptomatic treatment of allergic and inflammatory conditions, such as in bronchial asthma and skin disorders, opthalmic diseases, rheumatic disorders, organ transplants, gastrointestinal and nervous disorders. In conditions responsive to glucosteroid therapy as in adrenocortical insufficiency.
 
Dosage and Administration:
According to the severity of the diseases and the response of the patient.
Generally 1 - 2 tablets daily depending on the severity of the symptoms or as prescribed by the physician.
 
Precautions:
Extreme caution to patients with congestive heart failure, diabetes mellitus, chronic renal failure, hypertension, uremia, ocular herpes simplex, myasthenia gravis.
 
Caution:
Foods, Drugs, Devices and Cosmetics Act prohibits dispensing without prescription.
